Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Get UK Address API and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or making a payment, you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose.

1. The Service

Get UK Address provides a REST API that returns structured UK postal addresses in response to free-text queries. The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You must:

  • Provide a valid email address and keep your password and API keys secure.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to scrape, mirror, or resell the underlying address dataset.
  • Not exceed your plan's daily limit by rotating accounts or evading rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate any account that materially breaches these terms.

3. Payments — Card (GBP) or USDT TRC-20

You can pay by card in GBP (via Stripe Checkout) or with USDT on the TRC-20 network (via OxaPay). Both methods are one-off charges for a single billing period — there is no automatic recurring charge. Your plan stays active until its expiry date and then stops; to continue, you make another payment. We email you before the plan expires so you have time to top up.

Refunds. Card payments may be refunded at our discretion within 14 days of charge and only if the API has been used fewer than 10 times under the affected billing period. Crypto payments are irreversible: we do not offer refunds for USDT payments under any circumstance, including unused portions of a billing cycle or dissatisfaction with the Service. If this is a concern, pay by card.

Annual plans are priced at 11 × the monthly price (one month free) and grant 12 months of access in a single payment. A Free Trial plan is available on application — it grants the daily lookup limit of the Business tier at zero cost, for evaluation only.

4. Rate limiting and plan enforcement

Each plan defines a daily lookup limit, enforced at the API layer. Daily counters reset at 00:00 UTC. Exceeding the limit returns an HTTP 429 response — your account is not charged additional fees.

5. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access to your API keys and dashboard if we reasonably believe your account is being used in violation of these terms. Suspended accounts are not deleted. You can contact us to appeal.

6. Data and privacy

We log API queries and request metadata to operate the Service, surface usage statistics, and detect abuse. Queries are retained for 30 days then aggregated. We do not sell logs to third parties.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
